HYROX combines running, strength endurance and clean technique.

HYROX follows a clear format: run, functional exercise, run again. Your training needs more than a hard workout.

At Templeshape you train the building blocks: kettlebells, wall balls, sled-style push and pull patterns, core work, pacing and breath control. Coach Melissa guides the session and scales every exercise to your level.

You do not need a race on the calendar. The classes also fit if you want to get stronger, improve endurance or bring structure back into your training.

What HYROX training improves

Strength endurance

You learn to move well while your heart rate is high. That is where training becomes useful.

Pacing and breath

Between strength blocks you need control. We train tempo, breaks and breathing so you stay steady for longer.

Technique under fatigue

Wall balls, lunges, carries and kettlebells only help if your form holds. Melissa corrects you directly.

Community

You do not train anonymously in a big gym. The group is small, personal and awake enough for 7am.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. You need willingness for intense training. Exercises and pace are adjusted.

Is this official race training?

It is HYROX-inspired functional training for strength endurance, technique and conditioning. It works for preparation or as an intense weekly format.

What should I bring?

Training clothes, water, shoes with good grip and a little humility. HYROX does not negotiate.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Book a trial class and see if the format fits.
