We built a cold plunge pool in our studio!
First take part in our introductory course or workshop and get the license for independent ice bathing in our studio.
In the workshop you will learn what the benefits of ice bathing are, what you need to pay attention to when doing a cold plunge, how to breathe properly and, last but not least, how you can best incorporate ice bathing into your routine.
The Intro workshops are always held on weekends in the Health Temple at Manessestrasse 120.

The workshop is held in English and/or German and lasts approx. 1.5 hours.
Do you already have experience with ice bathing and don't need a workshop?
Contact Mira directlyto receive a private and shorter crash course including a plunge so that you can use the pool independently.
The cost is also 49 CHF and you should allow 30-45 minutes for it.


Once you have obtained your license to use the Templeshape ice pool on your own with our workshop, you can buy a 10-person card or start a new routine right away with the inexpensive annual membership.

Here are some convincing advantages of ice bathing:
A cold plunge or ice bath is a method of cold therapy in which you are immersed in very cold water (often between 4-9°C) for a short period of time. This practice has numerous health benefits, including improved circulation, faster recovery and a strengthened immune system.
It is safe as long as you are healthy and have no contraindications. If you have cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure or other pre-existing conditions, you should speak to a doctor beforehand.

We recommend 2-3 minutes for beginners. Experienced cold plungers can stay in the ice water for up to 5 minutes or longer. It is important to listen to your body and get used to the cold slowly.

Yes, after a bath it is important to slowly warm your body up again - in the workshop we will show you how!
For optimal health benefits, it is recommended 2-4 times a week. Some people even do it daily to increase their resistance and well-being.
The first few seconds are often a challenge, as the body reacts to the sudden cold with a reflex. After around 30-60 seconds, breathing calms down and many people report a euphoric and energetic feeling afterwards.
Breathing techniques such as the Wim Hof method can help you prepare for the cold and maintain control of your body. It is important to breathe calmly and not panic.
Yes, even in summer, body and mind benefit from the positive effects of the cold. The relaxing effects and the energizing feeling after an ice bath are equally strong at any time of year.
We recommend that you do not get into the ice bath alone, especially for the first time. It's best to have a companion or use professional supervision, such as at our Health Temple Studio Wiedikon.
