Overview
Dive into our inspiring Pilates and Cooking Retreat in Fuerteventura!
Our absolutely breathtaking villa with 6 bedrooms, at the foot of the majestic Calédron Hondo volcano, will be your retreat for a whole week.
Experience daily Pilates sessions with Louise, masterful & healthy cooking classes with our talented chef Vanessa, relaxing reading hours by the pool, and much more. Please note that both cooking and Pilates classes will be held in English.
For adventure seekers looking for an extra thrill, there is also a surf package available. The beautiful waves are only a 15-minute drive from our lovely village of Lajares. Enjoy three unforgettable sessions of 4 hours each (+170 euro) in the company of your retreat group and other action lovers.
Come and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals, no matter where you are on your sports and cooking journey. Alone or with company, you are warmly invited to share this unforgettable experience with us!

Film Set Villa with Volcano View
We are renting a truly breathtaking luxury villa on the edge of Lajares, which could just as well be a film set.
It's difficult to capture the flair with the 8-meter tall windows accurately in pictures - but the view of the volcano is simply fantastic!
Each room has an en-suite bathroom and a magnificent view of the volcanic landscape.
On the large terrace, you will find a huge heated pool, comfortable loungers, and a cozy lounge to chill.
Additionally, there is a long wooden table around which we will gather when enjoying delicious meals and interesting workshops.
And of course, one must not forget the incredible living room, which can also be transformed into our Pilates studio.
The extremely high windows allow you to enjoy the breathtaking view of the volcano during the workout sessions.
You've probably never trained in such luxury before!










Cooking Classes
Whether you're already a gifted cook or still at the start of your culinary career doesn't matter!
In this Pilates & Cooking Retreat, you'll learn how to efficiently incorporate healthy cooking into your everyday life.
Our experienced chef Vanessa, who has explored most corners of this world and discovered the culinary secrets of many countries, will take you on a journey through different cooking styles.
In four cooking classes, Vanessa will share her passion for food with you and will also introduce you to the basics of Ayurvedic cuisine.
From healthy breakfast, lunch, to dinner menus and snacks, you will get to know the diversity of cuisine. In Vanessa's courses on spices and more, you will also learn how to incorporate natural ingredients into your dishes.
Experience the simplicity of refined cooking art, where enjoyment and well-being are in harmony. With new ideas and inspirations, you will fly home and be able to implement the newly acquired knowledge effortlessly and sustainably in your own kitchen.
Vanessa is an "everything eater" and will prepare her inputs accordingly.








Pilates
One thing in advance: Anything goes, nothing has to.
If you want to join the sport only once a week, that's completely okay. We don't attract people who come on holiday to shred and want to fly home with abs.
Here you will find relaxed people who like to live healthily and balanced or those who want to give their life a kickstart towards a sustainably healthier direction with this retreat.



Sample Weekly Schedule
The Kick-Off of Your Adventure
If you like, your Fuerteventura adventure begins directly on Monday with a surf session. You will be picked up and taken to one of the nearby beaches, where our coaches will take great care of you and introduce you to the art of surfing.
This is not a must, but we recommend it – Fuerteventura is not a surfing mecca for nothing. Trying is better than studying!
If you prefer to stay home, comfortable loungers await you, inviting you to read your book. Chilling is nice too :-)
After lunch, there will be an exciting talk on the topic of sports & nutrition before we head into the second Pilates class with Louise.
We will prepare dinner together in our first cooking session with Vanessa. If that isn’t already a perfect day?!
Wine Tour & Tasting
We kick off Tuesday with another invigorating Pilates class before we enjoy a delicious breakfast together.
Today, a cooking class is also on the agenda: focusing on "Healthy & Quick Lunch". Vanessa will show us how to prep super nutritious and delicious lunches without much effort.
We will end the day with an exciting wine tasting at a local winery. Learn new and interesting things about the cultivation and production of delicious Canarian wines.

The glass is half full – we are ONLY halfway through the retreat!
Wednesday runs very similarly to Monday.
The adventurous guests start the day with the second surf session. Today you can finally deepen what you learned on Monday.
In the afternoon, we will get creative and make a small souvenir that you can take home with you, which will always remind you of your wonderful time in Fuerte.
Before we dine together, a volcano excursion is on the program for sunset (today you can take a Pilates break). Wear your sturdy shoes for the hike; it can be rocky and steep. But don't worry: the effort is worth it for the view of the sea and the gaze into the large volcanic crater.
Snacks & Live Music
In addition to the usual items, today the cooking input "Snacks" is on the program. Vanessa will prepare various delicious snacks with us, which you can easily recreate at home and store in the fridge.
The day is much nicer when you have tasty snacks on hand!
This evening is free to design for everyone without a scheduled program. Enjoy dinner in the village and perhaps a cocktail at Agua Tikki afterwards? They have live music there every Thursday.
Friyay!
The surf team will enjoy the last surf session today and work on their pop-up and turtle turn skills again. Don't know what that is? No problemo: by this day, these terms are already more than familiar to you.
The second-to-last Pilates and cooking class are also on the program today.
Learn from Vanessa how to skillfully use spices and herbs in daily life, what effects they have, and how you can enhance your meals with them.
Sand Dunes and Fine Dining
Well rested (today we start a little later since it's the weekend ;-)) we enjoy the last cooking class with Vanessa focused on "Brunch."
Afterwards, we will head together to Corralejo to the sand dunes. Get ready for endless sand and openness - a place where one can easily get lost.
In the evening we will dress up a little to visit a nice restaurant together.
Get ready to treat yourself! The food is super delicious, the service excellent, and your company is certainly great.
Nothing stands in the way of a successful last evening.

It’s time to say goodbye – but not to be sad!
The friendships you’ve made this week will accompany you for a long time. Believe us, we speak from experience.
The final brunch gives you the last energy kick before our shuttle takes you to the airport in Puerto Del Rosario.

Arrival
The retreat takes place in Lajares on Fuerteventura.
For thatit’s best to fly to Puerto del Rosario..
We strongly recommend sharing a rental car with other guests. We’re happy to connect you in advance and help with the organization. The car is definitely worth its weight in gold, so you can drive flexibly to beaches or the nearest village with cool shops in your free time.
Direct flights are available from all major cities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A few of these are:
- Zurich, Basel, Vienna, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, etc.
The villa is about a 30-minute drive from the airport.
Check-in is at 4 PM & checkout at 11 AM.

In Wildhaus, the maximum group size is 12 people plus the Templeshape team. On average, there are usually about 10 guests.
We design our Pilates sessions so that both beginners and advanced participants get their money's worth. You do not need to bring any prior knowledge. Everyone participates at their own pace and will ensure that exercises are performed correctly to prevent injuries.
And you don’t need any prior knowledge for cooking either. Our goal is for everyone to learn how to cook healthily and efficiently in everyday life while having fun!
Please note that both Pilates and cooking classes are conducted in English, as it is the teachers' native language.
There is no mandatory program.
If you don't feel like exercising, doing yoga, or going on an excursion, you can simply opt out. No one will be upset with you - it's your vacation, and you should relax in whatever way suits you best!
We are usually a colorful mixed group, with the majority of the group being in their 30s.
However, we have had participants aged 20 to 70, and we love this mix. We really want to encourage everyone to join because age absolutely does not matter to us.
That is correct. Everyone books their own flights :)
Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the retreat: 80% of your total payment will be refunded (minus the deposit).
Cancellation 4-8 weeks before the retreat:
50% of your total payment will be refunded (minus the deposit).
Cancellation within 2-4 weeks before the retreat: 25% of your total payment will be refunded (minus the deposit).
Cancellation within less than 2 weeks before the retreat: No refund will be issued.

Along with the other guests, the hosting team is of course an important factor in making your experience unique.
